Yzis

Yzis is a new editor "vim-like". The idea behind Yzis is to develop a powerful, fast editor featuring most of Vim features and hopefully more.

We use a completely different approach for developping Yzis than Vim : the core stuff is developed inside a C++ library which will do most of the "editing" stuff. Then, we have interfaces which uses this library to provide a nice interface to the users (ncurses, KDE, ...).

A ncurses, kde, and ktexteditor interface already exist for Yzis, and we have just started a gtk one. Thanks to the KTextEditor interface, you can use yzis inside Kdevelop, Quanta.. it's a real pleasure to use vim-like editor in a complete IDE.
